Delete your account

You can delete your FreeKin account at any time, from inside the app or by writing to us.

In the app

1. Open FreeKin and sign in.
2. Open the Profile tab.
3. Tap the gear icon in the top right to open Settings.
4. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
5. Confirm the action. Your account and data are deleted immediately.

By email

If you can't access the app, write to [email protected] from the email address linked to your account. Include your username if you remember it. We will confirm the deletion within 48 hours.

What gets deleted

• Your profile (display name, username, avatar, endurance settings).
• All your tracks — geometry, elevation, photos, titles, and descriptions.
• Your difficulty ratings and comments on other users' tracks.
• Events you created, and your participation in events you joined.
• Notifications and reports linked to your account.
• Your authentication record and email.

What is retained

Some security and abuse-prevention logs may be retained for up to 30 days after account deletion. They contain no track or profile content and are used only to investigate abuse or fraud during that window. After 30 days they are deleted automatically.

A note on live location

Live-location updates are never stored as a movement history — they exist only for the duration of an active event and are discarded when it ends. There is nothing to delete after the fact.

This action is permanent

Once your account is deleted there is no way to recover it. If you sign up again with the same email, you start from scratch — your previous tracks and events are gone.
